Recipe
Peel and slice the daikon radish into thin rounds.
Season the mackerel fillets with salt. Heat the sesame oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the mackerel skin-side down for 4 minutes, then flip and cook 3 more minutes until just cooked through.
Meanwhile, whisk together the soy sauce, grated ginger, and a tablespoon of water.
Sauté the daikon in the same skillet for 3 minutes until lightly golden.
Serve the mackerel over the daikon, drizzled with the soy-ginger sauce and scattered with sliced green onions.
