Set aside a plain chicken piece and some plain potatoes before adding lemon and oregano; cut into small bites for your toddler.

Recipe

1

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes.

2

Cut the baby potatoes in half. In a bowl, toss potatoes with 1 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 tsp salt, and a pinch of pepper. Place in the air fryer basket and cook at 200°C for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway.

child_care Set aside a few plain potato halves for your toddler before adding oil and salt.
3

While potatoes cook, pat the chicken thighs dry. In the same bowl, mix 1 tbsp olive oil, juice of half the lemon, 1 tsp oregano, 1/4 tsp salt, and a pinch of pepper. Add chicken and coat well.

child_care Set aside one small plain chicken thigh for your toddler before adding the lemon-oregano marinade.
4

After 10 minutes, push potatoes to one side of the basket. Place chicken thighs in a single layer next to the potatoes. Cook at 200°C for 12–15 minutes, until chicken reaches 74°C internal temperature and potatoes are golden and tender.

child_care Check the plain chicken piece first; remove it once cooked through, then continue cooking the seasoned portion if needed.
5

Slice the remaining lemon half into wedges. Serve chicken and potatoes with lemon wedges on the side.

child_care Skip the lemon wedge for the toddler; serve their portion with a small dollop of plain yogurt or ketchup if desired.
