Recipe

1

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes.

2

In a bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined. Form into 12 small meatballs.

child_care Set aside a few plain meatballs before adding salt and pepper for the toddler.
3

Place meatballs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook at 200°C for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. Meatballs are done when internal temperature reaches 71°C.

child_care Remove toddler's meatballs after 8 minutes to keep them softer; cut into quarters.
4

In a small bowl, mix crushed tomatoes, oregano, and olive oil. Pour sauce over meatballs in the basket. Cook at 180°C for 5 minutes until sauce is hot and bubbling.

child_care Skip the sauce on toddler's meatballs; serve plain.
5

Using a spiralizer or vegetable peeler, create zucchini noodles. Add noodles to the air fryer basket with meatballs and sauce. Cook at 180°C for 3 minutes until noodles are tender. Serve immediately.

child_care Serve toddler's zucchini noodles raw or lightly steamed in microwave for 30 seconds instead.
