Serve the toddler a plain pork chop cut into small pieces, a small scoop of stuffing without the apple chunks, and a few green beans on the side.
Recipe
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Peel and dice the apple and onion into 1 cm pieces.
Melt butter in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add the apple and onion, and cook for 5 minutes until softened.
Stir in the bread cubes, chicken broth, sage, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook for 2 minutes until the bread absorbs the liquid, then transfer to a bowl.
Season the pork chops with salt and pepper. In the same skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 3 minutes per side until golden.
Place the pork chops in a baking dish, top each with a mound of stuffing. Bake for 15–18 minutes until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 63°C.
While the pork bakes, bring a small pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 4 minutes until bright green and tender. Drain.
Serve the pork chops with stuffing alongside the green beans.
