Serve a small piece of salmon with a spoonful of the braised cabbage and a little dill butter on the child's plate.
Recipe
Shred the red cabbage. Melt half the butter in a pot over medium heat and cook the sliced onion for 3 minutes.
Add the cabbage, apple cider vinegar, caraway seeds, salt, and pepper. Cover and braise over low heat for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Meanwhile, season the salmon fillets with salt and pepper. Heat the olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium-high heat.
Cook the salmon skin-side up for 4 minutes, flip, and cook for 3 more minutes until just opaque in the center.
Stir the chopped dill into the remaining softened butter.
Serve the salmon with the braised red cabbage and a pat of dill butter melting on top.
