Serve a small piece of the chicken with plain cauliflower mash and a little of the sauce, tasting it first to check it is mild enough.
Recipe
Cut the cauliflower into florets and bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper. Melt half the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat and brown the chicken for 5 minutes per side, then set aside.
Add the diced onion to the skillet and cook for 4 minutes until soft. Add the minced garlic and paprika and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Pour in the chicken broth, scraping up the browned bits, then return the chicken to the skillet. Simmer covered for 15 minutes.
Stir in the heavy cream and simmer uncovered for 3 minutes until the sauce coats a spoon.
Cook the cauliflower for 10 minutes until tender, then mash with the remaining butter, salt, and pepper.
Serve the chicken and sauce over the cauliflower mash.
