Recipe
Cut the beef chuck into 3 cm cubes and season with salt and pepper. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil for the cauliflower.
Heat the olive oil in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat and brown the beef for 6 minutes. Remove and set aside.
Add the diced onions and cook over medium heat for 5 minutes until soft and golden. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Stir in the paprika and caraway seeds, then the tomato paste, and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
Return the beef, pour in the beef broth, cover, and simmer over low heat for 30 minutes until the beef is tender.
Cook the cauliflower in the boiling water for 10 minutes until tender, then mash with the butter, salt, and pepper.
Serve the goulash over the cauliflower mash, with the gravy spooned over the adults' portions.
