Place a plain cheese quesadilla and a few mushroom slices on the toddler's plate; cut into triangles and serve with a side of sour cream for dipping.

Recipe

1

Preheat the air fryer to 180°C for 3 minutes.

2

Slice mushrooms and onion; mince garlic. Toss in a bowl with olive oil, salt, cumin, and chili powder.

child_care Set aside a few plain mushroom slices for the toddler before adding spices.
3

Transfer seasoned mushrooms and onion to the air fryer basket. Cook at 180°C for 8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until mushrooms are tender and lightly browned.

4

Place two tortillas on a work surface. Divide the mushroom mixture and cheese equally between them, spreading on one half of each tortilla. Fold the other half over to form a half-moon. Place both quesadillas in the air fryer basket in a single layer.

child_care For the toddler, make a small plain cheese quesadilla using one tortilla and a little cheese, skipping the mushrooms and spices.
5

Cook quesadillas at 180°C for 5 minutes, then flip and cook another 3 minutes, until golden and crisp and cheese is melted. Let cool 2 minutes, then cut into wedges. Serve with sour cream.

child_care Cut the toddler's quesadilla into small triangles and let cool completely before serving.
