Recipe

1

Preheat the air fryer to 200°C for 3 minutes.

2

Cut paneer into 2 cm cubes and bell pepper into 2 cm squares. Place in a bowl, add 1 tbsp melted butter (microwave 20 seconds), turmeric, cumin powder, and salt. Toss to coat.

child_care Set aside a few plain paneer cubes and bell pepper squares before adding spices.
3

Transfer the paneer and bell pepper to the air fryer basket. Cook at 200°C for 10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through. The paneer should be golden and the peppers tender.

child_care After cooking, set aside a few pieces of plain paneer and bell pepper for the toddler.
4

While the paneer cooks, dice the onion. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine onion, tomato puree, garam masala, chili flakes, and remaining 1 tbsp butter. Microwave on high for 3 minutes, stirring once.

child_care Before adding chili flakes, set aside a small portion of the sauce for the toddler.
5

Stir the heavy cream into the sauce. Add the cooked paneer and bell pepper, toss to coat. Return the mixture to the air fryer basket (or use a small oven-safe dish) and cook at 180°C for 3 minutes until heated through. Serve warm.

child_care For the toddler, serve the reserved plain paneer and bell pepper with the unspiced sauce on the side.
